By purchasing an e-bike from Novayell (ACTION AT A DISTANCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC), you agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

Riding an e-bike involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of serious injury, paralysis, or death. The buyer assumes all responsibility and risk associated with the operation and use of the e-bike.

2. Local Laws and Regulations

E-bike classifications, speed limits, age requirements, and helmet laws vary significantly by state, county, and municipality. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to understand and comply with all local laws and regulations regarding the use of e-bikes in their area. Novayell is not liable for any fines, confiscations, or legal penalties resulting from the improper or illegal use of our products.

3. Maintenance and Safety Inspections

The buyer is responsible for the proper assembly (if not assembled by us), maintenance, and safety inspection of the e-bike before each use. This includes checking tire pressure, brake function, and battery connections.

4. Lithium-Ion Battery Safety

E-bikes contain lithium-ion batteries. You agree to read and follow all manufacturer instructions regarding the charging, storage, and disposal of the battery. Improper charging or storage can result in fire, injury, or property damage. Novayell is not liable for damages resulting from battery misuse.
